OTIS

Born in 1954 and weighing in at 6,035 pounds Otis is the biggest hay ride tractor. His name came from a kindergarten class that came to the orchard and said he sounded just like a tractor in a story they had read at school. When Otis isn’t resting in the barn he spends his time pulling hay wagons or pulling plows in the pumpkin field. Back after a fresh engine rebuild, enjoy a ride with this staple of Applewood Orchard.

EARL

Born in 1944 Earl is too old for fancy electronic things and insists on being started by hand. Back to light duty after a complete engine overhaul Earl is ready to pull hay wagons again after a few well earned years of R&R.

ELMER

Also born in 1954 this one calls Otis “big brother”. Elmer has been seen in the past pulling hay wagons at Applewood Orchard. Sadly Elmer is mostly on the sidelines due to injury to the engine but he’ll be back after repairs.

Leonard.jpg

Leonard

Starting from 1936 Leonard has been on farms since before there was dirt. He came to Applewood Orchard from a tractor graveyard. After lots of new parts, new tires and a new paint job Leonard looks and runs like new. Mostly retired in his old age Leonard doesn’t do much pulling, he just comes out to say hello once in a while.
